Has anyone ever taken a vacation on their own? Hmmm... me either. But I'm going to try it. There's a conference in NYC that I want to go to, so I'm going. And, it looks like I'll be going by myself. At least for work, whenever I've gone to a conference, I know that I'll be seeing people I know when I get there. Not sure that will be the case this time. This will be good practice for when I get that job that allows me to travel every week for work.
I heard of this conference that sounded good. So, I looked for airline tickets and got a pretty good deal... So... I booked them. NYC transportation is easy... so this leaves a place to sleep. I need to figure that one out. If anyone knows of anyone in NYC that I can stay with, please let me know. A few nights on a couch never hurt anyone... right???
